Business Support Manager   – c£30k + flexible working

We are keen to talk to candidates for the Business Support Manager role who are comfortable self-managing and can demonstrate the initiative and energy to shape the business support function.

Reporting to the management team the requirements and responsibilities of the role are outlined below:

Summary of experience and skills required

  • Experience of managing all aspects of an office in a growing company environment
  • Good understanding and application of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Creative with good communication skills
  • Comfortable with self-managing, and confident in proposing and developing new ideas and approaches

Summary of Responsibilities and activities:

Maintaining and improving all internal business processes including:

  • Financial information (e.g. expenses, timesheets )
  • Updating website
  • Social Media content
  • Monitoring business development channels
  • Proof reading and formatting
  • Owning the relationship with building managers
  • Office supplies and equipment

Detailed tasks and activities:

  • Horizon scanning for business develop opportunities and market intelligence
  • Website maintenance and tracking
  • Social media development and updates
  • Dealing with Workspace and raising profile of 31ten
  • Developing standardised reporting and presentation formats
  • First point of contact for commercial contracts
  • Supervising and monitoring the holidays, training etc.
  • Arranging travel, meetings and appointments.
  • Organising events, conferences and drinks etc.
  • Preparing budget information for finance
  • Reviewing and implementing the company's policy documents.
